Whether it's high-density 1D/2D barcodes printed on labels or directly on product components, including those small, dense 3 Mil barcodes invisible to the naked eye, the scanner can capture them successfully in one attempt. At the same time, these two scanners can also capture standard printed barcodes on almost any label, even if the label is damaged, soiled, poorly printed, or wrinkled, without any impact. The DS3678-HD rugged scanner features high drop, tumble, and sealing specifications. It can withstand impacts from drops of up to 8 feet/2.4 meters onto concrete floors. In tests simulating actual tumbles and drops, the DS3678-HD remained fully functional after 5,000 tumbles. This model is rated IP67 for dust, water splash, and water resistance, allowing it to be rinsed directly under running water and even submerged in water for up to 30 minutes.
